You can also use a tool like Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools) to check if your site is indexable or not.

Content that’s not helpful or useful isn’t going to rank well on Google—and if a user doesn’t find what they want after searching through hundreds of results from other websites, then it’s unlikely they’ll stay loyal users who will recommend your site over others’ sites (or even go back again).
And they don’t have to tell google. Google’s algorithm will automatically understand them. Also, in the last Google helpful content update, Google directly said then no content would be ranked if it’s not helpful for users.
Create a well-structured site.

This means having clear navigation menus with subheadings that don’t overlap each other, and also, it looks like a good design.
If you are writing blog articles, include the points section in the introduction paragraph. This will also make it easier for users to navigate through your blog article.
Add new content regularly.
New content is important to keep your site fresh, and it’s also a great way to get Google interested in your site. In fact, new content helps you rank higher because it helps increase the number of time people spend on your website.
New posts will help you rank better on Google because they’ll show up on Google that you are a responsible writer.
New posts also help you to keep your users engaged. If there is any latest news in your industry, Publish it in your blog first so that readers can find it out in search results and think that your site is an active site and it’s completely worth the time to visit again and again.

- Write with action verbs—these are words like “write,” “take,” “run,” “feel,” etc., which help readers visualize what’s happening in your piece of writing (for example, if you say “I feel sick,” the reader might think about throwing up). Action verbs help readers connect emotionally with the topic at hand, so they feel like they’re part of it too!

You have to build backlinks for ranking. There are two types of backlinks: Free and Paid. The paid ones are hated by Google and are not good at all. But the free ones are easy to do, time-saving and sometimes loved by google.
